My name is Brittany, but most people call me Britt–even though my mother hates it. I’m twenty-six, and live in Germany with my husband (often referred to as (the) Herrball or HB), our cats, and our dog. My life is filled with cat fur, dog slobber, and pessimism. (Those usually go together, right?) My life is far from some swashbuckling adventure, but I do my best to make it as adventurous as I can handle, even if that only means running to the mailbox in pajamas during the winter.

I currently do not have a fixed schedule. Things are becoming a bit crazy with our big move quickly approaching.

I honestly think I will always struggle with what to classify my blog as, but for the most part I would say it’s a lifestyle blog with a dash of a travel blog mixed in. It may change in the future, though, we shall see. It’s all part of the adventure.

I fancy myself a wannabe expat and travel blogger, but the reality is I’ve lived in the same town for twenty-four years until recently, and I don’t get to travel as often as I’d like. However, in the near future I should be changing all of that. My husband wants to move back to his home country, so I’ll be swapping my Georgia life for a German life and all the difficulties that come with it. For now, though, I’ll stick to dealing with my current difficulties at home. Home is officially in Germany as of September 2nd of 2017. While I may be an expat (immigrant), I’m still just a wannabe travel blogger, though. Money doesn’t grow on trees, you know. See you around, friends!

Why do I call my husband Herrball or HB?
-I’ve never actually been asked this, but I’m sure someone’s bound to be curious about it.  HB enjoys his privacy. That’s really what it boils down to, really. We discuss what information he is comfortable sharing and what he isn’t, so in the future you may get a name or a face to put to such a weird, yet fitting, nickname.
